1. Data We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of data:

• A device identifier (used to authenticate your device and maintain your session)
• Device information such as device model and operating system version.
• Uploaded or scanned documents
• Document text extracted using OCR
• Document comparison summaries
• Selected language and translations

2. Purpose of Processing

We process your data exclusively for providing the App's services:

• Uploading and storing your documents
• Extracting text from documents using OCR
• Summarising documents using AI
• Comparing documents using AI
• Displaying your past documents
• Keeping your language and translations up to date

3. Use of Third-Party AI Providers

To provide document analysis features, your uploaded documents — including full document content and any extracted text — may be transmitted to and processed by third-party AI service providers:

• OpenAI (AI text processing)
• Google Cloud Vision (OCR)

These services handle the data you provide in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms. We cannot influence how these external providers store or use processed data, and therefore cannot guarantee that it will not be retained or used for model improvement or internal purposes. By using the App, you consent to your documents being processed by these providers.

4. Your Consent

Before uploading any documents, you must confirm that:

• You have the legal right to upload the documents
• The documents may contain personal or sensitive data
• You agree to processing by AI providers

5. How Long We Store Data

Extracted text, document summaries, and analysis results are stored on our server until you delete them through the App or remove your entire profile.

Application interface translation data (menus, labels, and system messages) is cached locally in the App and refreshed regularly.

Original uploaded document files are not stored permanently. They are automatically deleted from our server after the required text extraction or analysis is completed.

Additionally, if your account becomes inactive for 180 days, all remaining documents, extracted text, and analysis results associated with your account will be automatically and permanently deleted.

For the purposes of this policy, an account is considered inactive when you have not:

• uploaded documents,
• viewed or generated analyses, or
• made any purchase or subscription payment within the App

during any continuous 180-day period.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to the data stored in your account
• Request deletion of your documents
• Permanently delete your entire account and all associated data
• Withdraw your consent to data processing by stopping the use of the App and deleting your documents or your profile

7. Removal of Account and Data

You can permanently delete your entire account and all associated documents at any time through the “Remove Account Data” option in the App. This action is irreversible.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data and ensure its confidentiality, including:

• Secure communication using HTTPS
• Device-based authentication
• Access to stored summaries and extracted text is limited to authorised personnel and systems only
